Pollen Parent: Anthurium Papillilaminum 'Daniel'
The mother plant is the Regale 'Dream Catcher' with unique veining around the sinus. It looks like a Dream Catcher or a spider web, and we havent seen any Regale like it online, or in real life, ever. Every time we post this one we get lots of responses. This Regale mother plant has 3-4 leaves while carrying berries. Regale are notorious for being very hit & miss with some plants doing very well while others struggle forever. This is a very vigorous specimens and this is good news for their offspring, which shows to be growing easily here in the nursery.
The pollen parent is the Papillilaminum 'Daniel' clone. Papillilaminum 'Daniel' is a Papillilaminum clone that finds its origin in The USA and made its way to the botanical Garden of Amsterdam. It's a very sought after Papillilaminum for the red-purple colors on the back of the leaf, the characteristic sinus and its provenance.
We are very excited for this hybrid, hoping for the dark velvet of Papillilamininum with the complex veining of the 'Dream Catcher'
